BioASQ 2023: Large-scale Biomedical Semantic Indexing and Question Answering

BioASQ is a series of international challenges promoting advances in large-scale biomedical semantic indexing and question answering. The eleventh edition of the BioASQ challenge consisted of three tasks: (1) a biomedical question answering task, (2) a task on biomedical question answering on developing medical problems (task Synergy), both considering documents in English, and (3) a new task on semantic annotation of medical documents in Spanish with clinical procedures (MedProcNER).
